On the level as well as insulation fibreboard provides a level subfloor for the final floor covering offering stable support and helping your floor last longer by smoothing out the most uneven areas. Very few subfloors the lowest stripped back part of your floor are completely even all the way across so fibreboard is thick enough to provide a level surface for laying wood or laminate on top. Suitable for use with hard floors. Ideal for click systems.

This 5 5 mm fibreboard underlay is ideal for flattening uneven floors with imperfections up to 2mm in height or depth. High compression strength of up to 15 tonnes m. Also attached to the underfloor heating underlay is a plastic vapour barrier layer that prevents any moisture coming through to the wood or laminate flooring. The underlay is 2mm thick with small holes punched through at regular intervals allowing the heat to rise and penetrate through.
