Elevation Cross Section Floor Plan

This is a plan view.
Elevation cross section floor plan. Elevation is the front side view of vertical cross section of any design. This is as if you sliced through a space horizontally and stood over looking down on it. In basic terms a plan is a birds eye view of a space. Combining different 2d visuals allows you to create an accurate representation of a design.
Or in the instance of interior design a space. A plan is drawn from a horizontal plane looking down from above. The cross sections are created once your floor plans and elevations are finished. Plan is the top view of the horizontal cross section of any design.
A cross section also simply called a section represents a vertical plane cut through the object in the same way as a floor plan is a horizontal section viewed from the top. In addition to the floor plans you will need to provide your builder and local planning department with elevation drawings and cross section drawings. A cross section is a vertical plan cut through the building or land and shows the vertical relationship between the different levels of a building or land. It can also show the elevation beyond the section line.
You will get a view of a cross section of parts of the building including the elevation measurements to aid planning of your building project. Plan drawings are a specific type of drawing architects use to illustrate a building or portion of a building. The elevation plans are scaled drawings which show all four sides of the home with all perspective flattened. In the section view everything cut by the section plane is shown as a bold line often with a solid fill to show objects that are cut through and anything seen beyond generally shown in a thinner line.
Elevation and section plans show helpful data such as floor levels roof features and basic topography.
